Qualifications and development
The teaching staff at SKYS are highly trained professionals in the art of teaching.
Having undergone extensive training through the Australian BKS Association Assessment Process, they all continue to sharpen their skills with regular visits to Pune, India to study with the Iyengar family.
Ongoing professional development under instruction from Simon Maurizio Marrocco and other leading Senior Iyengar Yoga teachers continues to develop the skills of our teachers. Simon, founder and director of SKYS, has successfully trained many teachers throughout Australia with the SKYS Teacher Training Apprenticeship. He continues to teach locally and internationally.
